Dhoom 3 Bike

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who performed impressive bike stunts in his latest release 'Dhoom 3', today appealed the Maharashtra Transport department to make motor vehicle license seekers undergo strict driving tests to ensure safety on roads.
He also requested people, particularly youngsters, to not perform any stunts seen in the movie as there is a lot of difference between reel and real life.
"In the film, stunts were performed under the supervision of stunt experts and all the safety measures were taken care of," he said.
The 48-year-old actor was speaking in a "Road Safety" seminar organised by the Maharashtra Highway Traffic Police at Sahyadri, the state guest house in south Mumbai.
"It is an emotional topic and issue for me. Like you all, even I feel worried about my family when they go out. As per the little knowledge I have, one out of 1000 persons in India die in road accidents. It is a serious matter. It is not less than a disease."
Dubbing the vehicle as a strong weapon, the actor said, "If we do not use this powerful thing in a proper way, then it may take somebody else life or our life. We should know that we are using the vehicle to reach at a destination and we should use it very carefully.
"We are very eager to get motor vehicle license. All youngsters should know, analyse and ask yourselves, if we deserve the license. If you do not deserve, then one should not take it," he said.
The actor also requested the transport department to carry out tough tests and scrutiny before issuing licenses.
"Fail us a number of times. Till the time, you (the transport department) feel we are not capable of driving properly, do not give us license so that we cannot take in our hands the killing machine."
Aamir questioned the transport department as to how come so many licenses were issued when it was difficult to conduct driving tests for such large number of people at the same time. "And to whom the licenses were given? I request the department to issue licenses slowly after conducting all the tests."

The third installment of Dhoom franchise has created hungamaat the box office

Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra starrer Dhoom:3 is in its second week and still going steady at box office. Besides witnessing an earth shattering opening, the film has surpassed the BO collection of Shahrukh Khan’sChennai Express within no time. Dhoom:3 has grossed Rs 250 crore in India. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Yes, Dhoom:3 has crossed Rs 250 cr nett in India. Dhoom:3 [Week 2]: Hindi – 61.81 cr, Tamil & Telugu – 1.91 cr. Total: Hindi – 240.78 cr, Tamil & Telugu – 11.92 cr. Grand total: – 252.70 cr.”
That’s not all! The Aamir Khan film is having a dream run at the international box office as well. “Dhoom:3 *Overseas total* till Wednesday: $ 23.01 million [₹ 143.42 cr]. All Time Blockbuster” posted Adarsh. If Dhoom:3 continues to get cash registers ringing, we won’t be surprised if director Vijay Krishna Acharya’s film enters the coveted Rs 300 crore club. Since the only big release is Salman Khan’s Jai Ho which will hit the theatres on 24 January, wethinks Dhoom:3 has good chances of breaking and making few more records before Sallu’s film releases.
